WITH THE Wexford Winterland Festival in full throttle, hundreds of men, women and children made their way to the quayfront recently for a Guinness World Record Attempt with a seasonal twist.

There was many a splendid seasonal jumper on show too.

The people of Wexford, numbered in their mid-hundreds, had been some way off surpassing the existing record of over 1,000 linked pullers but still couldn’t be deterred from enjoying the festive fun.
