Seventy-one entries have been received for six races at Fairwood Patk, Tinahely, next Sunday for the first point-to-point of 2017 in the south-eastern region.

Sixteen are entered for the Slaney Foods Open Lightweight Race where the favourite is likely to be Battle Anthem, trained locally at Craanford by Liam Kenny.

Definitely Fureys will test his unbeaten record in the Winners of One race.

The fixture is run by Shillelagh & District Hunt and the first race is off at 12.30 pm.
