WOULD YOU like to learn digital skills?

If so, check out the Community Training & Education Centre (CTEC) at ctecwexford.ie.

The centre has been awarded €85,000 in funding from the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment for digital skills training in County Wexford.

As a result, some 100 free courses are being offered.

The courses aim to provide people with the confidence and skills needed to participate in today’s digital world.

They are fully funded by this grant and set to commence later this month.

As part of the course, participants will receive an introduction to the internet, internet safety and security; they will learn about email, social media, online banking and security, as well as online government services and how to shop online.

Courses will take be delivered over five sessions of two hours per week in a variety of locations across the county, with a maximum of ten students to each class.
