SADNESS DESCENDED upon the Sinnott family of Wexford town and their many friends in the community on not one but two occasions in recent days, as both Maurice and his mother Marie passed away.

Acclaimed musician Declan and larger-than-life local writer Frank mourned the loss of their highly-regarded brother and mother who had been close companions.

The people of Wexford bid farewell to Maurice (68) and Marie (99) at their funeral services which took place at Rowe Street Church on Wednesday and Saturday respectively.

They will be sadly missed by Declan, Frank, their extended families, neighbours, friends and all those who had the pleasure of knowing their company.
