THE KIND-HEARTEDNESS of the people in the community has been remarked upon by volunteers at Wexford Women’s Refuge, which, they said, was inundated with gifts, donations, hampers, toys and food over the Christmas period.

Volunteers have extended their sincere thanks to the people of Wexford for opening their hearts to the cause.

Residents, they said, did not go short on anything this Christmas.

The Voluntary Board of Management also ensured that a very special visit was paid to the refuge on December 22nd, when Santa himself arrived.

A Christmas party was enjoyed by women and children staying at Wexford Women’s Refuge at the time.
