POPULAR WEXFORD musical theatre group Oyster Lane has just announced its production for 2017 will be… Footloose.

The upbeat favourite tells the story of Ren McCormack who is shocked to discover his conservative hometown has made dancing and rock music illegal.

A battle to change this scenario ensues as the young man struggles to fit in.

The show is sure to be highly-anticipated by fans of music, dance and drama in County Wexford.

As is the group’s tradition, it will be presented as a highlight of this year’s Wexford Festival Fringe.
