Traffic is expected to be heavy in and around the Clonattin area of Gorey today (Saturday) as large crowds gather for the 158th annual Gorey Agricultural Show.
The attendance figures should be boosted by the fact that a lovely warm sunny day will prevail.
The show grounds is only a stone’s throw from Gorey town centre and minutes from the M11 motorway exit 22.
The main sponsor, will be located in the main tent in the middle of the show grounds and will host kid’s entertainment throughout the afternoon, including face-painting, crafting and balloon sculpting in addition to the hugely popular puppet shows performed by Red Moon Theatre.
Classes will include Show Jumping, Horse Showing, and Cattle and Sheep Showing.
Gorey Agricultural Show is about more than competition and is a vibrant, community show and a fun filled day out for all the family.
