AFTER SITTING dormant and in an unattractive state for almost a decade, the striking premises which previously housed Wexford Cineplex is being transformed into a luxury cinema venue expected to open in late July.
The approach road to the town is in line for a major enhancement with the arrival of The Arc Cinema Wexford.
The premises’ significant refurbishment forms part of a multi-million euro investment to be injected into Redmond Square Shopping Centre over the next two years by new owners Melcorpo Commercial Properties.
The three-screen cinema is set to boost trade locally, create in the region of 15 jobs and provide an attractive entertainment offering for people of all ages.
It promises to offer a ‘VIP’ experience, with plush leather seats, at standard cinema prices.
