The Ireland team that will take on France in the last 16 of the European Championship has been named – with Martin O’Neill sticking with the attacking line-up that delighted fans and won the day on Wednesday.
Robbie Brady, the goal-scoring hero of Lille, has been retained in the attacking position so effective against Italy.

There is no place in the starting line-up for Jon Walters, who may feature from the bench, or for Wes Hoolahan.
But Stephen Ward, who was a doubt due to an ankle injury picked up on Wednesday, is fit enough to start.
