A homeless group is asking Irish B&B owners to open their doors to the homeless this Christmas.
Cairdeas Homeless Action Group is appealing to B&Bs around the country to take in one or two people who find themselves sleeping rough on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Lynn Cahill is the founder and organiser of Cairdeas, her wish is for every homeless person to have somewhere warm to stay on December 25.
“We’re asking B&Bs, hotels, backpacker’s hostels and the like to come on board with our initiative and take homeless people off the streets on Christmas Eve and Christmas night.
“We will provide all the funding and all we’re asking is for people to open their hearts and open their doors.”
