The qualifying heats for the annual Opportunity Knocks talent competition in Kilanerin Hall have been competitive and entertaining and there is one remaining opportunity to reach the Grand Final next Friday night.

“We take entries before all the heats, if we have a few places left, but Friday sees the last of our heats for this year, so if anyone wants to have one last chance give us a call,” said competition organiser, Helen Whelan, who can be contacted on 087 6429291.

All types of talent is catered for, Debbie Byrne is the adjudicator, and proceeds will be used for the maintenance of Kilanerin Hall.

The Grand Final takes place on Friday, February 24. Doors open nightly at 6.45 pm and the first act hits the stage at 7.45 pm
